Light and Dark

Light and Dark

A Poem by All The Same

You see, the world
Will make you blind
With all its horrid sights,
That scar for life
Heart, soul and mind
And block out all the light.

The darkness here
Is seeping in,
Kills all that's in its path,
It slowly creeps
Across the skin
To show the world its wrath

You see, the world
Will make you blind,
But then where will you be?
For even dark
Hides from the light,
With which our eyes can see.
