Illness Illusion,

the world is lost in its own greed

Lorelei and Kenjin leave to look for more leads. While they are out, they run into Edward who was trying to develop a cure for crystal addiction. She tells them that she was planning on setting up a lab in Condor in the ruins of Gongora, but when she got there she saw a big warehouse filled with  the crystal serum and child laborers. Women were also held there and their children were being used for experiments.  She doesn’t know what syndicate is in charge but the base is heavily guarded. In the jungle, Edward met a woman who was planning on taking down the organization alone but decides that having help would be more efficient.

  Carmyne looks into the bombing of her apartment to see if it was just Seymour or these traffickers. She finds an article from that night that said two bodies were indeed found in her apartment-children bodies. Even though Carmyne is distraught, Apollo reminds her that the police never identified the children as hers. He believes this organization has them.

  Kenjin and Lorelei return with Edward and tells them that a woman, Faye needs their help taking down the trafficking ring. More determined than ever, Kenjin, Apollo, Carmyne, Lorelei, Lamar and Edward head back to Condor to the forgotten village of Gongora. They find their base of operation and of course most of it is underground. They figure out a way to infiltrate without causing alarm but they do. Henchmen greet them with gun fire and they fight their way to the central room. These henchmen were men an women from all the syndicates, gangs and even foreigners.

  Past the central room are cells the workers call home. Passing through, they hear a child arguing with an adult. They finally found Zane and Kalani. Carmyne is reunited with her children. The adult is Faye, she has been in disguise planning her attack. Seymour and Jet told her to watch over the children knowing who she was; even with age he can recognize her from the picture Spike always carried around with him. Seymour knew that she would eventually be reunited with her son after he and Carmyne cross paths.

  Faye hugs Kenjin tightly in a loving mother’s embrace. Faye informs them that this organization’s goal was to take down the syndicates by pitting them against each other with fake alliances, destroy the city , invade surrounding areas and rebuild a new country under one rule. Their leader is on the bottom floor- The White Wolf Syndicate Leader. Together, (Kenjin, Faye and Lamar) they fight their way to their leader’s room and defeat him. Kenjin calls his captain to handle the clean-up and they all head back to Kenjin’s apartment.
