A man comes through the front doors of a tall building. He sets of multiple smoke bombs and throws grenades as he makes his way to the upper floors. He guns down those that fire at him but does not kill them unless they become too persistent. He calls for Seymour with an intense rage in his eyes.

Seymour Cronus Kearn is on top of Carmyne when the room shakes. She asks him if he installed a vibration feature. One of his henchman barges in his room and tells him that the building has been breached. He leaves Carmyne handcuffed to his bed and with katana in hand he is ready to kill the intruder. Carmyne is able to break free by breaking the bed post he cuffed her to. She retrieves her halberd that rest against a fancy blue couch. The men that were guarding the room are gone. As she moves up floor to floor more dead bodies litter the hallway, more and more blood stain the floors.

Making it to the roof top, Carmyne finds Seymour; he was slain by Kenjin. A single gunshot though the chest. Kenjin has deep cut marks and is losing blood rather quickly. He is close to death. She closes Seymour’s eyes and places his katana over his body. She also removes the necklace he is wearing and puts it in her pocket. Men in black suits freeze in place not knowing what to do.

She takes Kenjin to the hospital and when he awakens she tells him that Seymour is the only person who knows where her children are. With him gone, she insists that Kenjin helps her find her son and daughter; Zane and Kalani. He was holding them captive as well as her. She believes they are still in the city. Not knowing each other’s connection to Seymour and why he captured them, he decides to help after much begging and a guilt trip. Together they sneak out of the hospital and head to Kenjin’s apartment.

Back to the present, Carmyne tells Kenjin a story about a childhood friend who fell in love with a boy. Only after they started dating did they learn they share the same father. They were the only ones that knew about their relationship besides their mothers. The mothers didn’t know each other, so the thought that they mothered children from the same man never crossed their mind. They boy and girl kept it a secret and continued on living like they didn’t know. But when their mothers found out, they were disowned and thrown out to the streets.

Carmyne wondered what happened to them. At the convent, she saw them there. They were part of the cult but she saw that they were happy and that their life is nowhere near as tragic as those two children. She doesn’t blame their taboo love on them or the cult but their father who didn’t want to own up to his responsibilities and lead two lives.

Kenjin fiddles with his necklace, a wheel within a wheel. He says that he has a half sister, Edward, but they never loved each other as soul mates but as brother and sister. Even though they were friends at first, both knew they had a deeper connection- an older brother younger sister relationship. One day, he learned that they shared a parent and never knew of each other existence until they meet some years ago. He says that everything has its opposite and from time to time one is greater than the other; heaven and hell, good evil, earth and human, man and woman, love and hate, etc. It all depends on the view of the person. He believes this city is the opposite of paradise but he has faith that one day the wheels will be the same size and balance each other out.

Sequence: "A wheel within a wheel"- Soil & "Pimp" Sessions

Carmyne plants a seed in the field beside Kenjin's apartment. She waters it daily and watches it grow. The seed is a special one. It continues to grow through spring to summer to autumn ad through winter. The seed became a weed, then a flower and then a tree. It grows and grows and eventually it reaches the sky. Carmyne and Kenjin climb the tree. The sky changes from day to evening then to night. At he top, they sit on a bundle of leaves. So close to space, they reach out to the stars. A supernova occurs. A huge burst of light covers the night sky. Stardust falls on them an runs down the sides of the tree. The darken city lights up and shimmers. Carmyne and Kenjin smile as they rest on the tree top, supporting each other backs. They find themselves inside a sphere, a sphere outside the sphere of the earth, a wheel within a wheel.
