A girl is crying while a ship is sinking. The front of the ship is underwater, while the rest of the ship is on fire. Passengers rush to life boats, but the ship is sinking too fast. A man sees the girl crying and carries her off to a life boat he was able to get into the water. Moments later, an explosion causes the rest of the ship to sink completely. The man and girl drift on the treacherous waves holding on to the boat for dear life. Making it to land, a deep jungle is home to the man and he takes the girl in as his own.

Carmyne Mouna Eden and Kenjin Alexander Phoenix hear about a religious cult and how it lures children into it. Disguising themselves as followers, they infiltrate and search for Carmyne’s children. They meet a brother and sister who are 15 and 14 respectively. Despite being young and related the two are married an expecting a child. Carmyne tries to convince the children to leave the cult and not have the baby. She had her son when she was 15 and doesn’t advise it. The children are brainwashed into thinking that “their purity should remain in the family and those that are not in the family are impure.” and that "the city is an impure institution and this convent is the beacon of purity". The boy takes his sister away, but Carmyne and Kenjin watch them from afar. Still roaming around the cult undetected by others, they try to find anyone who will testify against their leader. The girl finds them again and wants to help them take out her father. She agrees to leave with them in the morning and hopes her child will have the freedom she never had.

When the boy finds out that the girl plans on leaving the cult with Carmyne and Kenjin’s help, he kills the unborn child, the girl and tries to kill the adults for “their devilish magic”. Kenjin manages to knock out the boy and ties him up. They leave him in the room with his dead sister and search for the leader to get some answers.

Finding him, they ask if a man named Seymour brought two children here. The leader knowing who he is says that he "would never let any children from the devil into his family or on sacred ground". They leave the cult grounds and keep searching for Carmyne's children. They hope those children would be free from their captor one day.

Following them is the boy who escaped Kenjin's poorly tied knots. He is scared that the leader will torture him for killing the girl; the leader worships the woman since they are the ones who can have more “pure ones”.  Kenjin calls his boss and informs his captain that he has confirmed incest, abuse and molestation within the cult and has a witness willing to talk. Back at the station the boy gives his account and confesses to impregnating and killing his sister. The boy is locked up while they raid the convent.

The leader sets himself on fire before the police can arrest him. The followers; the leaders many wives and their children are sent to a psychiatric clinic for evaluation. The boy wasn’t transported there for he killed himself while detained. Carmyne and Kenjin bury him, his sister and the unborn child in the city cemetery for those who died too young.

Sequence: "Sorrow"- Soil & "Pimp" Sessions

Carmyne and Kenjin walk through the city. Its a gloomy-foggy morning. They see abandoned church after abandoned church. Stained-glass windows are broken for rocks have been thrown through them. Dust covers the floors. Statues are missing heads, forelimbs. Candelabras are knocked over, bibles are torn to pieces and the wooden benches have scorch marks on them. A giant cross hangs from the ceiling sideways. The church organ remained intact despite the rest of the church being in ruin. Carmyne begins to play a tune that echoes through the church. Kenjin walks outside to the courtyard. A fountain contains murky water. The trees bear no leaves. He sees a statue of a sorrowful angel. Lilies rest at its feet. Etched in stone on the side of the coffin the angel cries on is the sentence: Sorrow is the believer with no mind of its own.

This sounds like a description for a graphic novel. I don't think i'm the right audience for this one.
