Moon CreepingA Poem by Jasmine S. EdwardsMoon passed by my window and awakened me.
The moon crept past my window.
It illuminated my cheek. I opened my eye to have a peak. But it slowly crept behind the trees. The moon crept by my window. The light began to weak. Through darkness this light leaks. It creeps in the rustle of the leaves. The moon crept by my window. It had me in such a daze. The moon crept by my window. And suddenly it went away. The moon crept by my window. There was nothing more to say. Head resting on my pillow. Before I knew it night was day. © 2013 Jasmine S. Edwards |
