Bird in a Vase

Bird in a Vase

Hope the image that comes to your mind is the same one I drew to go along with this poem :)

Bird in a Vase

A Bird in a vase,

What a mysterious case,

In it, it has everything I need,

Even a little bird feed.

It has flowers, seed, leaves and feathers too,

And the Bird is orange, white and blue.

The flower is red, like a beautiful rose,

The bird’s wings fanned out, striking a pose.

In the background the colors red/purple and yellow/green.

Those make a split complimentary color scheme.

The bird rests in the water like a boat,

Same with the leaves that have music notes.

The bird who can take flight,

With black eyes as dark as night.

A bird in a vase,

What a mysterious case.

I want to preserve it forever,

So I won’t be stressed and feel under the weather and I won’t lose another feather.
