Leaves fall for her autumnA Poem by Sherbs Dreaming Tree Of PoetryShe fell from the heavens As spring crept through winters defiant presence To bring forth a landscape of fire
Spring came She crashed down to Gaia Soon the trees will beckon her
As summer approached She began to wake Her eyes focused She became aware
Her legs became strong upon a midsummer evening Her body became one with Mother Nature Her soul filled with rage She set out to bring an end to summer
Her name was Lilith The time has come for her bittersweet redemption And with it came the turning of the season Trees became weak and their grip loosened
Now the leaves will turn to red And soon summer shall be dead
