The road

The road

A Story by Sherbs Dreaming Tree Of Poetry

Highways form

Highways of blood and sand

Of lies an d deceit

Cruelty pathes the way

To a brighter day

A day of peace

To form the definitive crease

of Pain and Pleasure

The establishment crumbles

Let us rejoice for the pathway to the end

Will take us home again

I really liked this, it shows how at the end of the road there is a happier path life will take.

Short, simple, and nice.

Good job.

The road can steal us away and can take us home. I like the way you described the poem. Hard times and dirty streets make home a sweet place to be. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
