Intolerance in vain

Intolerance in vain

A Poem by Sherbs Dreaming Tree Of Poetry

I suffered then

And you will suffer now

Break me down then build me up

To be honest...

I’ll just break you down

I’ll be vicious

I’ll burn you

I’ll beat you

And guess what

I won’t say sorry

You never wanted more than to hurt and lie

And all I ever really wanted was you

Stay inside your head

I’ll stay in yours too

Keeping the pain in

Keeping the fire alight

This unity is the end

Don’t forget all I ever really wanted was you

And if I can’t have all of you..

Then i’ll just take your soul...

Love the intensity that flows in this. You can feel the blanket of shadows engulf. Nicely done

I love the dark emotions in this poem as well as the images! I loved the lines "Stay inside your head/I'll stay in your too". It is like you are going to be a haunting memory. I know those kinds of memories all too well. I really enjoyed the way this poem flowed. Another great emotional poem!
