Stay with me

Stay with me

A Poem by Sherbs Dreaming Tree Of Poetry

I beg you,

Stay here,

Please be mine forever,

Take me in your arms until the end of time,

Those arms of love,

You leave and i feel the tears,

Well to my eyes,

if you choose to leave,

Then kill me,

If you will not,

Just,

Stay with me

You have a talent for making me think of girl punk bands singing your poems as lyrics except i am at a total loss with this poem. I am leaning to Lisa Loeb, but it also reminds me of Avril for some reason. Either way, awesome job, and in the words of every sassy black chick i ever met.

Girl you dont need no man all up in your business! You A strong woman girl!

they dont say that to me, its usually, 'wow M your the coolest kid in town" but thats rare.

Poetry of love&yearning tends to be a hard one for many people. This was pretty simple&honest. Nice emotions.

Everyone goes through that pain at a point in life, I get how you feel.
Very direct feelings and a reader can easily see that you are in pain.

I like how strong the emotions are in this poem. I think everyone can relate to this at least a little. No one wants to be left behind and it hurts when it happens and I think this poem shows that pain beautifully. I love the desperation in this poem, it is very real. Good job.

wow, there is a lotta hurt in there, you know how to convey your emotions well with words, the computer monitor is dripping in tears--sorry for the heart break, i've always used heartbreak as my muse, hard to revisit, but cathartic in the same breath

"Please be mine forever,
Take me in your arms until the end of time,
Those arms of love,

You leave and i feel the tears,
