The hills are watching

The hills are watching

A Poem by Sherbs Dreaming Tree Of Poetry
"

Old poetry

"

The hills are watching

Their eyes of stone

eroding

Incmopleted

The answer to all is here

I sit and watch it all crawl away

Fading

Incomplete

Creeping death is all I see

The end is coming

Prepare for the end

Just wait

For I am the hills and i am watching

I love this from beginning to end. Great imagery.

nice, dark write. ominous. typo in the first stanza, but other than that, a very solid write.

just reminds me that you can't trust anyone.... everyone is always watching and very few people on your side... spies are everywhere..

The end line is a perfect clincher. It drew me in, and added a unique sharp flavor to the poem. "Imcompleted" seemed too clunky to go in that second stanza, third line, however...try substituting it with "incomplete" instead. That way it'll repeat, and the meaning will be more intense.

Keep your head out of the garden. It has eyes and ears. Well done.
