Societies veilA Poem by Sherbs Dreaming Tree Of PoetryA little something about the state the worlds inWe ponder international dangers Of Middle Eastern crisis' Of Warfare in a foreign land
Can we not just consider our freedom? This veil that politicians place Over already blinded eyes
Their dark cloud of judgement overshadows The peoples sun Casting shadows of poverty And of grief
Is this just another Thatcher? This ConDem league of de-moralization
Are these the days that we hated so much? The working class shot down Like the HIndenburg
We feel the pounding of their rifle Of unemployment Driving loved ones into oblivion Forced to benefits
Our country is falling apart Is this what we are destined for? We were once an empire Rulers of the world And now.... We are nothing © 2011 Sherbs Dreaming Tree Of PoetryReviews
