The Wise Old Snowy OwlA Poem by Sheri HaynesI have always loved animals since I was young, and one of my favorite is the snowy owl, looking into his yellow made me wonder what he was thinking when he was looking at me?White silky feathers set upon majestic wings that spread in silent flight. Perched motionless on a branch is the wise old snowy owl. As darkness falls, a soft rhythmic who, who, interrupts the still night. Yellow eyes that look into mine, I wonder, what do you think when you see me? © 2009 Sheri HaynesAuthor's Note
