Drowning.

Drowning.

A Poem by Sheridyn

Rejection.
You're drowning in love for one person, trying desperately to get some air every now and then...
But until you get rid of this love...
You'll continue to sink to the bottom.
How easy to say, "He doesn't love you! He's not worth your time!"
Also, how easy to say, "I love him. I need him. I want him."
But, difficult to say...
"I'm done."
"I'll move on."
How can you move on from the one person who gently caressed your heart in times like these?
Times when you felt no hope.
Times when you felt your world crashing down on you, you felt like you had nothing else to live for.
But simply hearing their voice would put a smile on your face.
What do you do when that voice is gone?
When that voice doesn't care for you anymore?
When you want to hear that voice so bad, it's like a drunk with no alcohol.
Simple.
You do nothing.
