Chapter 242-1

Mothers Mayhem

Part 2

We hadn’t reached Orem yet when Jeff spooked me, it seemed he was always doing that since I wasn’t sensing him like I used to. I couldn’t figure out why, and neither could Jeff or at least he wasn’t willing to tell me.

He told me it was a bad idea to return to Heber, that Paul Cranny was up to his old tricks again, but since I had humiliated him in court last time, and the fact he was in the middle of a divorce with Jennie because of me.

He knew soon or later I would have shown up to see my mother. And with my father raging war on me and the Rothwell’s, he and his friends plan to attack my father tonight for hurting my mother and blame the whole thing on me and anyone contacted to me. I growled loudly. “You got to be kidding me. Landan pull over we need to talk.”

Landan pulled over to the side of the road. I said. “Jeff tells me that we need to change our plans; Paul and his friends are planning to attack my father tonight and blame it on me and you, Dad and Mr. Knox.” I didn’t have to explain Jeff and his warning to Landan, he knew very well if I say Jeff tells me something we needed to listen up.

He said. “Just great, I guess what we need is alibi that can protect us unless you want to be stupid and save your father? Knowing he would still blame the attack on us even if we were doing it save him from a serious beat down?”

I said. “Not worth the effort, besides he has it coming to him, Jeff states that it would be best if we avoid them at all cost. Says the hotel where we were staying at has a time stamp security cameras.

“That if take back our rooms and pay with our credit cards. It would stand up in court having both the copy of the video tapes and the receipt stating we had taken rooms there for the entire time. So Paul and his friends couldn’t pin it on us when my father gives a police statement that it was you, Dad and I as well as Mr. Knox who was responsible if we have hard evidence that state during that time we weren’t even nearby. Jeff has already notified Stringum so he can do the same for Dad and all my friends in Heber.

“It’s Mr. Knox that we need to contact somehow and get him and his family out of Santaquin before my father is attacked as well as Bishop Clark and his family plus my brother. That gives us less then 4 hours looking at my watch before my father gets off work and before nightfall when Jeff thinks they might strike, but there is no guarantee if could be sooner.” Landan cursed and pulled back onto the freeway taking the nearest exit spotting a service station.

We quickly went inside as Landan pulled out several cards out of his wallet. One was to the Santaquin Police Chef and one to Mr. Knox. He called Knox’s place first. Telling his wife that she needed to pick up her kids at school and make beeline to the Marriott hotel in Provo, and check into a hotel, and making sure she was given a receipt, and if they go out to dinner make sure they have the receipt for that as well and be in plain sight of any cameras. He made another call to Bishop Clark telling her wife the same thing and making sure she understood.

He then called the Santaquin Police department to warn them, if they can stop it fine, but if they can’t make sure that they aren’t anywhere near my father and account for their whereabouts. He then made calls to each of the hotels notifying them and the manager in charge.

Telling them to expect everyone and to make sure they record their movements that show them checking in or leaving and if they needed anything to bill Stringum’s account. But to make sure each of them had detail time and date stamp placing them there. He called our hotel and re-reserved our rooms, and if they could reserve the solarium garden and the pool just for us. Moving our Japanese dinner too there, and the pool for us in case we wanted to use it.

He left a note for his wife and Rhoda at the Solon after tracking down the driver finding them there, and told him disregarded his last order, and brings them back to the hotel when they were done shopping. He called the school and told someone at the office to give his boys a note to meet him outside the school and to stay were the school cameras can see them. He stressed that and that he would explain once he arrives to pick them up.

He then left a nice tip to the person behind the cash register for letting him make his calls. He said he had always hated pay-phone consider 90 percent were usually broken or could hear your self talk with the outside world buzzing around him.

We got back into the car and made a beeline back to the hotel, where we checked in and he made several more calls once we were back inside our rooms. He told me he had most of the items in the van, and he was leaving me here to help setup while the rest of our stuff and our help arrived.

I was warned not to leave the hotel for any reason; that this should keep me busy until he came back with his boys. Jeff didn’t stay long after he had given us the information so we could coordinate some sort of plan. To say I felt bad about my father and the beat down he was sure to get. Would be a lie, knowing if I was there I would be the one putting him in the emergency room for what he had done to my mother, which was why Jeff and Landan didn’t want me anywhere near him.

The hotel manager had his staff empty the van for me and allowed me to use them until my help arrived with the rest of the stuff as he placed a sign on the door stating the room was closed for a private affair and he placed a sign on the door that pool would be closed for repairs at 8 pm and will be reopened in the morning at 5 am.

Not that the hotel was all that busy being it was still a weekday and, as they were preparing for the big rush when the ski resorts would be opening this weekend. With the expected snowfall to be at least 30 to forty feet in the mountains; Stringum was working his crew hard to beat the storm; with one more big push, before he had to release or transfer most if not all the crew to the new location. Leaving a Skeleton crew behind to finish up what they can until they can resume work again, which meant moving dining faculties to Arizona.

Chef Mack and Chef Philips were busy training his new Chefs and the crews that would be going with them to either Mr. Tate’s estate or to Arizona. Chef Mack had refused the offer to move down there; because he wanted to be close to his children. So he took the job of being our new Chef. His wife wanted to retire, and he was getting up in years and liked the idea of being a private Chef, where he could spend time with his family instead of putting in 90 to 150 hours week working almost non stop.

Mr. Vincent had given him a huge raise, and a very nice benefits package. He didn’t care regarding the fact we were nudist, he simply stated he and his wife wasn’t going to participate. Bishop Earl hired one of his Chefs who had been looking for a chance to earn his stripes. He too was getting paid a nice salary and benefits package.

His wife liked the idea of having her own so she could throw big parties and not be the one in the kitchen to make all the food for them. Plus she liked the idea where she wouldn’t have to do most of her own cooking for her family. Personally, I think she got the idea from my adoptive parents reminding her how much work it was just putting together the last summer party they held before moving here. Plus with a state of the art industrial kitchen, she was out of her league with all the latest toys.

Landan soon came back with his boys and with the rest of the stuff, we needed to turn this room into a Japanese environment. It turned out better then we could ever have hoped being that it was inside one of the largest flower gardens, with its own cascading rock waterfall where we had decided to set up a small 12-inch high table made out of real oak with lots of comfortable pillows.

Landan had hired a Japanese Chef for the night to cook our meal. I didn’t ask how much that cost, considering he was the one paying for it. The paper lanterns set it off with the large rice paper walls at the entrance and lots of candles that floated on the water. He had found several cassette tapes, which played Japanese music as I had strung speakers to give the effect of surround sound.

He introduced me to each of his boys, his two older boys were the spitting image of him with dark brown hair worn in a crew cut and parted neatly on the left side; light blue eyes soft and round and large taper nose that flared on the sides with the same English accent, with thin full lips and full cheeks. They were roughly the same height as me, considering Landan was a head taller then me being 5 foot 7. His youngest boy Jessie who was 8 was far different than his two older brothers Trance who was 12 and his older brother Daniel who was 13. Jessie was roughly the same height as my brother Jason at 4 feet and a little bit.

His hair had more of light brown known as ginger and wore the same hairstyle as his two older brothers and their Dad. He had brown eyes in more of almond shape compared to their round ones. His nose was short and pudgy with more of flat feel to it; his lips full and tapered at the corners. His face still had the cute baby face look to it being more of a round compared to a block square look his brothers and Dad had. He, however, had a slight accent but it was more of undertone that had rubbed off as he had grown up with his adoptive family.

It didn’t take long to finish up as we locked the door behind us and went back upstairs to our rooms. Mostly it was my room we stayed in as we waited for the girls as Landan made a few more phone calls checking to see where our wives were and how long they were going to be.

They weren’t to be told about our dinner plans, just to bring them back here when they were done. We had about 2 hours before they would arrive thinking we had spent the day lounging about the hotel. Landan had the boys do their homework first that way we could enjoy our evening. They didn’t have as much as I did being that his two older boys were still in Jr. High and his youngest was in middle school. He had me run us all a tub so we could bathe before the girls showed up and dressed in our Japanese robes.

Landan had told them that I and my wife Rhoda were going to be their new full-time baby- sitters and we were both nudists just like them. So they shouldn’t have too worry about being shy around us, or worry about us freaking out if they wanted to share themselves with us or each other.

In fact, he told them they can do everything they normally do when they are home as long as they did what we told them to do and obey the rules. That included bringing their new friends home. Making sure they understood knowing if they disobey us it was like disobeying them which meant being punished.

Being as we were all boys they didn’t have a problem of taking their clothes off in front me and being nudist boys they didn’t have a problem of me touching them. Their Dad left me too it once we were in the tub as he picked up our clothes and put them into the hamper the hotel had provided for us. He had stopped by their house and packed them enough clothes to spend the entire weekend here at the hotel. That way there would be no way my father could pin anything on me and Landan.

The only difference was he would take the boys to and from school; while I stayed here with their mother and Rhoda, unless they wanted to paint the town by day and have sex by night. Plus it gave Landan and his wife a chance to be alone together as we got acquainted with their three boys. We would try to make it back home Saturday morning if the roads were drivable.

If not we would return on late that night or sometime Sunday afternoon. But for now we left that open for debate, but with the heavy snows expected to arrive either tonight or tomorrow. We least had very nice accommodation and paid for up until Sunday. The boys would be sleeping on the pull out couch while they are here.

The girls soon came walking in as we were watching the news on TV stating that snow was on its way the roads were going to be slick during our morning commute. Surprise, surprise as their mother noticed we had left the reservation seeing her three boys sitting on the couch with us dressed in Japanese robes putting down all their bags and boxes of the things they had bought while “window shopping.”

Landan said folding the newspaper. “I thought we eat in tonight as a family and friends. You said you were in the mood for some Japanese food, well Nate and I have prepared us a private dinner. Why don’t you ladies freshen up and put on a robe which I have taken the liberty of hanging up in the bathroom for you? While I call down to the kitchen to tell them we will be ready to eat within the hour.”

Both our wives gave us a quick kiss and hurried to the bathroom. Lucy said. “You boys are so dead.” Finding the roses we had left them and very romantic love letter slipped into their robes.

Landan said. “True, but you have no idea what lengths we would go to make sure we keep you happy.”

It didn’t take long for them to freshen up and put on their robes, we didn’t waste time putting on flip-flops and slippers. The girls thinking that the meal was going to be eaten here in our rooms as Landan and I each took them by the arm and led them to the elevator as we went passed their room and kept on going, having Lucy ask. “So where are you taking us?”

Landan said. “To diner like we said we would.” We got out of the elevator and made our way to the solarium where we had set up everything. Landan cued the manager to tell the Chef and our waiter that we were ready. Landan unlocked the door and went in first and turned on the music, they said. “Please allow me to take you to our seats.”

The girls gasped seeing the decor all around our table by the cascading waterfall. Landan helped his wife down onto the cushion as the boys took seats around the table as Rhoda and I sat across from Landan and his wife. Lucy said. “You did all this for us?” As she gazed all about the room.

Landan said. “Not as good as a restaurant environment, but Nate and I had our reasons and you mentioned that this would be the most perfect place for a romantic dinner. So we decided that we would arrange something we could remember for the rest of our lives plus it gave the boys a chance to meet Nate and Rhoda.”

Our waiter soon came into the room with trays of brimmed with a verity of dishes, as we helped him place them around the table and wooden bowls with hand painted chopsticks and regular silverware. With a big pitcher of Japanese hot tea made out of vegetable beef broth considering I hated fish with a passion. And with the boys here we wouldn’t be drinking rice wine. The girls smelled each of the dishes hearing their tummies rumble with hunger. We quickly dived in tasting everything as we put it into our bowels and doing our best to master chopsticks, as everyone laughed because none of us could do it right, as we unfolded the silverware.

Everyone moaned how good it tasted as we licked our fingers and wiped our bowls clean with our bread which was rice flatbread that had been grilled to perfection. There wasn’t anything left as we gathered up all the empty bowls and left them on the table. Landan said. “Nate and I have reserved the pool just for us in case we wanted to do some skinny dipping.

“Not to worry the manager and I have the only key and no one will be able to see inside. Then when we are done, I have rented several videos we can watch, but being a school night, bedtime is at 11, and if the roads are passable I will drive the boys up so they can attend school, but if not that’s fine too. We can all play hooky. Now, who’s in the mood for a swim?” Everyone raised their hands and we left the garden. Landan gave the manager permission to take down our Japanese environment as we went into the pool. Plus he left a wake-up call to tell us how the roads are in the morning.
