Battle Of The Courts

Part 2

Even though Eli and I could have slept in we didn’t, mostly because we heard the large storage container being unloaded, it was like looking at a boxcar on a train without the wheels, either way, it was still cool. Yet it would be sometime before Officer Knox’s buddies could go up to get my stuff, knowing my mother would be at school when that happens, but I had no doubt my father would be there to make sure every scrap of my room was empty to his liking. He wanted me, gone; he wanted me dead if he could arrange it. He wanted the same with Aaron, but he would be facing a losing court battle either way.

Yet because he filed a complaint he has the right to be heard, even though the charges were bogus. I wasn’t worried, mostly? And that mostly had to do with Jeff leaving me completely alone. Not even Tony has heard squat from him, which means he either doing his ghostly duties or being punished or we aren’t in any danger. I slipped on a robe and clean pair of boxers and sat down at the breakfast table with Eli. Mrs. Knox kissed us both on the head as we waited for the girls. Mr. Knox was reading the paper and looked up and said. “I should be gone about an hour or so, your father has insisted that we have all your stuff out by 9 am or he is going to throw it out onto the street.

“Personally I liked to see him try because he only just one man and a very small man carrying heavy furniture just wouldn’t work, but I rather not have him take an ax to it and have himself a little barbecue. I am already charging him for my time and the guys that are going to help me move your stuff. Knowing it is going to piss him off when the Judge overrules him. Stating he has no right to kick you out of your mother's house, just because he hates you.

“Yet we have to do it because it’s the law that every compliant regardless of how we personally feel about it must be heard until it is thrown out of the court. So I want you to stay inside until I get back, your adoptive parents said you had plenty of homework to do anyhow and all needed to be done by Wednesday. You can use my wife’s typewriter and we will set it up here where she can keep an eye on you.” I nodded that sounded like a plan.

The moment his buddies arrived he left as I watched his boys come in with big smiles on their faces giving me and Eli two thumbs up stating they had been kissed by our wives and really enjoyed it as they too went out the door to catch the bus.

Mrs. Knox said giving a heavy sigh. “I think we need to do a little grocery shopping since you boys are pretty much stranded here. We certainly don’t want you starving to death now do we?”

Eli smiled. “Not when your food tastes as good as this.” Shoveling large pieces of French toast in his mouth and swallowing it nearly whole with a glass of orange juice.

Rhoda said. “I thought your husband said we couldn’t leave the house?” She asked her and Jackie taking a seat next to us and started to fill their plates.

Mrs. Knox said. “The boys can’t leave the house; his father isn’t accusing you girls of rape charges or trying to kill him. He just wants none of you near him or his family, until he can have his day in court. Besides the paper said with adult supervision you can go anywhere you like that isn’t near his father or his home or place of work. I consider my self an adult.

“Plus Eli and Eric have things to do today once the guys come back with his stuff. So that leaves us girls to the one thing we're good at and that is shopping. I don’t have any clients until noon and usually do my grocery shopping on Monday morning. So hurry up so we can leave.”

The girls nodded and did what they were told once they were finished Eli and I cleaned up and I begin doing my homework as the girls went shopping. It wasn’t long after that Officer Knox came back with his buddies, by then I had dressed so I would be ready to lend a hand. Officer Knox said. “Your father is such an a*s, he made us do all the work as he stood there watching. He even made us take out all of Aaron's stuff as well; stating he was going to do whatever it takes to make sure Family Services takes him.

“Without your mother being present we didn’t have a choice, even though we told him that wasn’t going to happen, but it's all good because Bishop Clark has already agreed to take Aaron until your father can have his day in court. I called your caseworker she said she be here within the hour. I have posted a police car as requested at your father’s workplace when he is done filing his papers at the police station and the courthouse. I am billing him for the gas as well as our time, even though we will never see a penny of it.”

There wasn’t a lot of stuff in my room at my mother’s house. Just the bed, bedding, and the dresser, yet he made them take off the door and remove the alarm as well as the hidden cameras, and my phone; including all of Aaron’s clothes. He didn’t have closet seeing that all his clothes were stuffed inside a garbage bag which I had no doubt my father had already cleaned out his room the moment he went to school so in some ways I was a little lucky because I had a closet and I had already taken all mine with me.

Mr. Knox said as much as he opened the bag of laundry inside a garbage bag and the smell was beyond rank as if the had been washed in the sewer. It had my father’s calling card all over it. He sat to the side stating my caseworker would most likely want to look at it. There was no bedding or a bed for that matter or a dresser with Aaron's stuff indicating my father wasn’t about to waste something he could use.

Which meant he was going to use Aaron’s room instead of sleeping on the couch or move it upstairs in my room to keep an eye on my mother? Personally, I didn’t care; he could do whatever he likes as long as he doesn’t lay a finger on my brother. He would have kept my bedroom furniture as well, if it wasn’t, for the fact I could prove that it all belonged to me because I had the receipts to prove it, and it was on the police report listing every item on it.

My caseworker showed up when we were just finishing swapping out the guest room replacing my bedroom furniture with the one inside the guest room. She didn’t look all that pleased to see me as she said. “Well, it looks like your father still trying to get his way after all these years. He doesn’t seem to learn that he doesn’t have a leg to stand on, but the law is the law and everyone that files criminal charges has the right to be heard even if it is a lie. I am going hit him with everything I got, so there will be no doubt in his eyes and the court's eyes that this needs to stop. That he either steps up to the plate or keeps his damn mouth shut.”

I left Eli to it after I had introduced him to her, as my husband which didn’t go over so well, because it was the first she was hearing about it, but it was better to hear about it now than be caught off guard when my father brings it up inside the courtroom. However, I didn’t tell her everything, in fact not everyone knew everything.

She even said that if anyone asked or bought up the details regarding our involvement with the satanic church. Just too say that it is classified and would need the ok from high government official listing it under the witness, protection act. She made a note to make sure that it was listed in my file. That I can not be asked regarding our involvement; unless it is inside the judge’s chambers, where it isn’t allowed to leave the room or to be recorded by any means.

She was angry hearing about everything he had done over the last week, today’s actions alone made her grind her teeth placing the ruined clothing into the trash bin adding a note that my father was to be held accountable for destroying private property not only mine but of Aaron's, plus have him be charged housing costs for him and me, plus he would paying our court costs and filing fees when he loses.

Our attorney would be stopping by in the morning after they had taken everyone’s statements so they could see about how things were going to go down. Stating that so far my father has yet to proven anything, other than a few witnesses that were seen fleeing the scene of the crime, and have all been brought up charges of vandalism and attempted murder and public nuisances, stating that alone will help our case. Making them a witness seem laughable to the court.

Plus the fact I didn’t’ lift a single finger to even suggest I had intended to kill him, but if he wants to bring that up she has a whole list of dates and enough pictures and hospital bills of all the injuries he has caused over the years. His threat against me and my friends will note that nothing has changed. He is still the same angry man he has always been and has tried numerous times to kill me, and my brother. That any threat he has made towards me and my friends and my mother and brother should be taken seriously and the law is on our side because we have done nothing to but to protect ourselves.

Far as my brother is concerned there is no chance in hell does have to worry about being placed in the system, not with my mother and my grandmother unwillingly to do it, but enough of our friends to make sure that was never going to happen. She had Officer Knox take her up to the house so she can take some pictures; she had already had permission to do so from my mother. She wanted to show the Judge our living conditions that require Aaron and me to have locks on the door.

She wanted and before and after pictures. She already had the receipts and the pictures of them in places. She changed her mind regarding Aaron's clothes telling one of the officers to store it inside the storage container so she could use it as evidence more so when she saw mine my father had ruined setting inside my mothers shed. She took pictures of it sitting there where my mother had put it and opening the bag and gagged as she placed inside her trunk adding it next to Aaron's, telling Officer Knox to file it as evidence. He said gladly holding the bag at arm's length as he dropped besides Aaron's.

Officer Knox knew my father didn’t have any money, but that wouldn’t mean he would get away with it. It just means they would get creative on how he would pay us all back for the damage he has done, like working it off with community service. There were plenty of jobs that could be done here that would keep his dirty little hands busy. I knew that would only make him hate me more, but he brought it all on himself. I went back to my homework wanting to get all done leaving me a whole day to study so I could spend the remaining time using my queue cards.

I wanted to be ready for my finals that I would have to take on Wednesday with my old classmates when I drop off all my school work, so I can get credit for it. Yet with the court date on Wednesday morning I was uncertain how that was going to happen. My caseworker said she’d call the school and work something out. My task was just to make sure I was ready.

I had doctor’s appointment in the morning so they could examine me as well as Eli and my wives plus the Earls, because of all the charges of physical abuse and the charge of me and my friends that are boys rapping my sister, even though  Becky told my father that it was all a lie. He didn’t believe her, instead, he believed Susan as always. I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he finds out that Susan or Becky isn’t as innocent he claims them to be.

I cringed remembering that my grandmother too will be there and she will hear it as well. Yet I wasn’t to be blamed by my mother’s actions. Tony came into the house asking me if I was ready to go, tossing me my car keys. I wasn’t sure if I was going to go or not, but Officer Knox went with me as my police escort, leaving a note for his wife and our girls that we had gone to the school. It wasn’t a long drive as we parked near the long line of cars that were either being worked on or where the student’s cars that worked inside the shop. I got out my wallet to pay for lunch for me and Eli when the four of us entered the cafeteria, I had never been inside the high school before, and so I followed the rest of the students like hungry sheep.

No one paid attention to me and Eli as if we were just another student. They paid more attention to Officer Knox because he was in full uniform and carried a gun at his side and a pair of handcuff that dangled against his utility. It made it seems that he was escorting three prisoners. Yet the moment we entered the line Officer Knox told me to put my wallet away; handing the money to the worker as she told us to go to the front of the line.

Everyone moved aside as we took the front, which caused whispers asking if they knew who we are and why the cop was with us. I too would have been curious, but I paid them no mind as the lunch ladies gave us extra portions seeing that officer Knox paid for each of us to have two good sized lunches.

I quickly scanned the room finding Greg and all my friends sitting at a table in the corner saving me a seat as Chad and Ben pulled over an extra table and chairs that they had saved just in case I was able to show up. I also took notice of Officers Knox’s partner Officer Chris Delaney he too was wearing his uniform and was making a check mark in his little black book as he quickly updated that he had only two or three students to talk to regarding the allegations that my sister Susan spreading that I and my friends rapped her.

He was quite handsome if you are a girl that likes blond wavy hair, who looked to be in his late twenties medium built, broad shoulders and clean shaven. His blue eyes always seemed to capture the hearts of many of the girls. Yet he was married with two boys of his own ages 8 and 9 Larry and his brother Dean; who I hadn’t met yet but will, in the near future and his wife Caroline. Like Officer Knox, he was taking this job well to seriously but I liked how he had a taken charge quickly as he noticed Susan and her pals that were just as stuck up as she was. Watching her and them as they were about to come over as Officer Delaney stopped her.

Overhearing her ask what the hell was Eli and I doing here in her school; that I was breaking the rules by being here. Officer Delaney said. “It’s a public place, young lady. The restraining order states if it is in public place full of people all that is required is that he or his friends don’t make attempted to come near you unless you yourself give permission, not mention there are two officers here to make sure that never happens. Now kindly walk away and return to your seat or remove yourself from the cafeteria.”

She looked at me and growled. “I can wait to tell Dad that you were here when he told you not come within a mile of me.”

She raised her voice another octave so that everyone could hear her. “Rapist like you and your immoral friends should be behind bars. I have lost count on how many times you have tried to rape me and force me to have sex with you.”

Causing heads too turn. Someone said. “Oh look the Ice Queen has been just turned down, by that new kid; I guess he got frostbite when she rubbed her self against him in line, trying to get him to have sex with her.”

Everyone started to laugh. Susan's lips began to tremble as she fled the lunchroom crying, with her friends behind her. Once she did everyone clapped and the bell rang announcing that it was time think about going to class. Greg said. “That happens a lot, she always trying to get someone in trouble the moment they turn her down for sexual favors.”

I walked up to put my tray away when several boys tried to grab me. I didn’t know who they are, until ring leader mentioned that Eli and I were the boys that married each other, calling us f**s knowing that they must be part of my mother's ward. The ring leader tried to punch me in the stomach as my quick reflects took over as I dodged the punch smashing my tray over his head and kneed him in the stomach.

Everyone stood back as his friends circled me and Eli. Greg quickly snuck through to help as our cop buddies were trying to clear a path. But by the time they reached me they were all on the ground bleeding and hugging themselves into a ball crying like babies. Officer Knox picked up the leader by the front of his shirt, pushed him against the wall. As Officer Delaney order his friends to do likewise as they handcuffed them all with zip ties.

Offer Knox said. “Let this be a lesson to you punk. Gay boys don’t fight other boys… they are too busy running from a fight; instead, you just got your butt handed to you in a fair fight by boys that aren’t gay. Now you get to see what’s like getting suspended and spend a night in jail cooling your heels.”

He asked if we were alright I said. “Nothing I couldn’t handle.”

Tony smiled said. “Always in trouble no matter where you go?”

I said. “I do my best to stay out of it, but trouble always finds me.”

Greg and Max and her brother Bruce showed me the way to the mechanics class, as my cop buddies took care of the boys. Susan gasped seeing me as the boys were being taken down to the principles office one the boys growled. “W***e; you owe me and my friends big time for this.”

She said. “I told you he and his friends were dangerous, not my fault you got your a*s kicked. But you gave my father the evidence we needed against them. So thanks, I’ll have my father bail you out.”

Officer Knox said. “Move it punk, you can have sex with ice Queen once you stand up in front of Judge explaining why and who told you to be an a*****e. I am looking forward to seeing you boys on our clean up chain gang, now move it. And God help me you are so damn stupid by not keeping your mouth shut Susan. You win the prize to sit in the principles offices for hiring these boys for doing your dirty work and will be suspended for it.”

Susan backed away as Officer Delaney came towards her and said. “Up against the wall.”

Susan screamed. “Rape, somebody help me I being raped.” People gather in the hallway as they watched Officer Delaney handcuffed her not so gently and asked her friends if they wanted to join her. Instead, they shook their heads and ran.

Susan yelled. “Cowards… ouch, that hurts,” as he pushed her in front of him adding her to the boys as they walked to the principles office.
