The Voice Of God

The Voice Of God

A Chapter by Shep

Have you ever heard the voice of God? As the four winds blew speaking his name, the golden sun that rises over the pristine driven snow-capped mountains. Or listened to the clear blue water as the dolphins frolic back and forth as the fish under the sea show off their bright colors.

Have you ever heard the voice of God? In the great quiet moments of standing in the green meadow, watching a rose petal slowly unfolds slowly into a beautiful flower right as the soft ray of the sun slowly peeks out of a cloudy sky.

Have you ever heard the voice of God? As you look deep inside you or the people around you or your kids, husband, wife and loved ones? If not then all you need to know is that a small still voice is waiting to be heard.

I've been reading some of your posts and I've enjoyed all so far, but this one----this is is my favorite. I'm so glad that you spotted me first and responded to one of my posts or I wouldn't have had the pleasure of knowing of your existence. You're an amazing writer, no matter the minor misspellings or occasional wrong word, we all do that. It's the concept, the ability to paint that invisible picture from your mind to your readers or to be able to kick-start that reader into intellectual thought. You write, let an Editor worry about the other. Happy New Year to you and yours. P.S. Just a few days ago I deleted all my work from this site and had decided to just stop. Then, you read The Inheritance War and it was like an outstretched hand asking me to rethink it. So, I reloaded a few of my excerpts, the ones I like the most. Thanks for the encouragement.

I think I can hear more, voices then voice of god. But I really like this one very, wide landscape of poetic mind. Reflections of inner truth and believes. And I like how you on the end put your lived, ones. Beautiful.
