love the air, you were never really here

love the air, you were never really here

A Poem by LaFawnda
"

I created in my head a false infatuation over someone I knew would be leaving me. I did so to add drama to my otherwise mundane life. As a hopeless romantic, I crave this s**t.

"

To whisper in your ear

these words help you disappear

so I'll write it down on paper

you remain here

Let's go find a hiding place

so they can't wipe you away

run from the darkening light

our hands were clasped so tight

You my mattress

I your comforter

We should lay like this forever

You fell behind

so I held on tighter

those fingernail marks will soon get better

Beg to keep this one

but that's not the deal

shattered heart might never heal

go ahead

take a shard

you will be my bodyguard

All along

never mine

but a concept in my mind
