Lies

Lies

A Poem by Shelby Baker

will watch those lies slid off your  tongue like turpentine but don't think you're getting away with them

I might just be remembering them and waiting for the day to drop the bomb

Small but mighty!!!

Little woman carry a big stick in the words. Nicely done!!

Small, succinct, pungent and I can almost taste the bitterness. I admire people who have the courage to throw in small titbits. Why should we feel duty-bound to rattle off a page of drivel? hehehe...

I enjoyed this write and would like to pop it on my blog if that's alright with you?

(I would quote you, of course)

Take Care :D

Pretty good, but I think you should get rid of one of the 'them', since you repeated the word twice...

It IS true. A woman's memory is like a trap. Seems like she has a free pass...and that day
when she breaks the rules...she will have justification. She shall smite him twice.

No doubt our untruths can and often do come back around to bite us in the fanny. Certainly conveyed the feel of a "woman scorned."
