Diary Entry One - The Grand Introduction

I am Child Z - the most talked about teenager in British history. I've been creating a media frenzy for the past three months. Forty million people around the world have heard about my story on TV. Twenty four million have read a version of my story in the press and five million people have tweeted about me since I became headline news in February 2013. I even hear that Hollywood wishes to produce a film on my life. I believe Amandla Stenberg (from the Hunger Games Movie) and Parker Posey (from My Wife And Kids) are fighting it out in the audition room to play me, and want nothing more than to land the big role! Wow, who would've thought this would ever happen? 

Most teenagers would love the attention I am getting right now, but not for the reason I am getting it. I have not had an easy life. It's been tough. In fact, it has been hell! Nobody actually knows the real story, the real facts. Only I can tell you what really happened to me from March 2010 to now. And for the first time ever, I am doing just that - telling the tale in my own words, from my perspective, without the lights, camera and action. This diary is my account of events. This is the organic truth…

wish = wishes? or wish = wants? or wish = would like to?

Thanks for spotting my typo - that is helpful. The word should be 'wishes', I will change that now.

This is great. The very first line caught my attention. By calling your narator the Z child you have created mystery and suspence, and you have added to this by witholding information about the charecter: what's her name, what's her story, ect. Love the opening! It creates questions, tension, anticipation, and empathy (not quite the word I am looking for, but I think you get my meaning). I will be reading what you have next. :)
