In You, All that I See

In You, All that I See

A Poem by Shelly Braen

I lose myself in your quiet

Finding sanctuary in all that I see,

As if worlds that were lost are now found

And everything is pleasing to the eye,

Through the unrefined ruble of now

Hiding in your heaven with you,

As if this were always meant to be

And you were only waiting in silence,

Sound waves beat through me

Feeding off the electricity in blue and gold,

Looking to the sky in innocence

As we wait patiently for the world to end,

Always and forever knowing that in our depths

Was the Eden to find shelter,

Walking through the valley of the shadow

Life touches all,

Such pain will all be swept away,

In the light of your eyes.
