Dark hair and warm eyes,
Coffee brown euphoria,
The strength and truth,
His voice like cathedral bells,
Beckoning the sinners to confess,
An array of colour,
The sunset veil of his soul,
Shining bright as a man amongst men,
The cool breeze on my cheek,
The comfort of a blanket's warmth,
The shade of a giant oak,
He took out the thorn,
With his love, saved me,
Hush now, he sleeps,
While the rain falls,
and almond blossoms bloom,
His breath quiet,
Giving life to all around,
The smell of purity,
And he paints the clouds,
With but a single whisper,
A touch so gentle,
You would think a butterfly lent grace,
Wandering through the maze of his heart,
Finding all that is truth, love,
And the beauty of a world,
To those who would seek heaven find unimaginable,
His tongue sharp and articulate,
The strength in such an alto medly,
A mind with brilliance only the sun would dare match,
The gorgeous hands that which,
Bring life and give birth to,
Paper children of beauty,
Like small children,
We wander the forests of time,
Hand in hand, telling our secrets,
"Shhhh...I'll never tell,"
"You are safe with me"
And hearts that stretch for miles,
Like sparrows in free a fleet,
Into eternity never ending,
And we walk in a circle,
Content in the scent of wild flowers,
And nectar too sweet for the bees,
Eyes open, chestnut to sky,
Only we understand,
Earth mother smiles upon us,
And we share our journey,
Often times, I wonder it a dream,
But your touch brings me back,
How could reality be such bliss?
If I dream, please do not wake me,
As our eternity twists and spirals,
Like a ride carnivale,
We hold on to eachother,
Giggling as tender children do,
And when tears fall,
We while away the cold,
And when I stumble,
His sure hand steadies me,
Twilight,
The sun struggles to keep,
But night does come,
We find our path lit by fireflies,
And we step to the beat of cricket chirp,
We smile in the dark,
Knowing our morning,
Is but over the dawn.
