Ingredients for Writing

Ingredients for Writing

A Poem by Jason Grey
"

Imagine if writing were as easy as following the steps in a cook book.

"

How to write:

Ingredients:

One part Creativity

Two parts Perseverance

Half part Grammar

A dash of Originality

Instructions:

Mix thoroughly

Until seamlessly blended

Pour evenly into notebook

Set to “Ponder” for a few hours a day

Let climax rise until breaking point

Then gently deflate.

Let stand until Plot thickens
