Today's thoughts.A Poem by Shelley Louise SmithPoem.
If this emotion were capable,
Of being wholesome and tangible,
If i could mould it and fold it, make it relatable,
Would it be understood? Thoroughly? Absolutely?
You see, I am failing to comprehend,
The patchwork of pretensions,
Of this half-cut, harvesting nation,
That lives to feed on itself and is only full up,
When
All
Else
Is
Dead.
