Intimidate

Intimidate

A Poem by Shelby Noël
"

A personal favourite. Enjoy :) xx

"
My name is no more than a dull slave bell when he calls, voice raised and tone angry.
But when you look down at me, the same sound falls from between your teeth. You drench it on your tongue and it dries light and pure.
It billows out in the form of a whisper, like smoke from your lungs, and it sounds like a mantra repeated over for your peace of mind.
Tell me, does the bellringer intimidate from a bird's eye view?
