Behind my smile
Are all my tears
Are all my fears
Behind my smile
There are lies
Behind my smile
Is where Ive tried
To succeed at getting over you
So my heart can be happy
So my smiles can be true
You know I still love you
You know Ive always been true
You know I still want you
And that Ive been blue
Since that day you told me
That we should be friends
And thats all we should be
I know you used to love me
Maybe you still do
Maybe you still want me as badly
As you used to
Because you cant fake those feelings
I know you cant
So please just tell me honest and true
If you love me
As I love you
So then maybe
Just maybe,
We can start anew
