Anger Like rain

Anger Like rain

A Poem by Shelby Taylor

The screams go through like bullets
And the anger flows like rain
And though it's all been said before
It rips open old scars with pain

The air is thick with rage
And the field is sick with hate
And though it's all been said before
It's all been said too late

It's always better to pick the battles
But there seems too many to choose
It's a war within myself I wage
And this war I'm beginning to loose

i absolutely love this poem. it flows smooth as silk. i think its something we all can relate to, as there's a war raging inside everyone. very well done.
