The Enchanted Cottage

The Enchanted Cottage

A Poem by Sheila Marie Carr

An enchanted cottage, out in the woods

In the middle of paradise, is where it stood

A recluse and a hermit, just happens to be

Bewitched by its magic, that made them see

When they are there, only beauty is shown

A magical spell, gave them a place to belong

There is a beauty, that only they can see

A true love that was meant to be

An enchanted place of the supernatural

Extraordinary power, of a love that magical

Attractive and facinating, beyond the eyes

A love that was created, from beyond the skies

Two unlikely people, that has come together

Has found a way, to love each other

They have left behind that old baggage

For the delightful place, of an Enchanted Cottage

Sorry, I was only a year old at the time, but I will check it out sometime.
By the way, my favorite of all time is 1939's Goodbye Mr. Chips.
