Value Of Time

Value Of Time

A Poem by Sheila Marie Carr

                           Time is as precious

    As silver and gold

 For when the end comes

  Nobody knows

Seek him to day

   Before time runs out

   Be sure who you are

    Without any doubt

We don't know if tomorrow will come

Time is infinity

Far and beyond

Past, present, and future

    The history of man

Diligently seeking

    For time is at hand

 To have faith in strength

    Within our own mind

   Is the gift of knowing

    The Value of Time

Very well written and so true the advice given here. Time is what is important but faith is so far sweeter than anything else. Excellent job.

This one reminds me of this poem I wrote called Judgement Day. It's all about remembering that the end could be any day, and to know where you stand with your faith. I like this poem, especially the beginning:
"Time is as precious
As silver and gold
For when the end comes
Nobody knows"
Thanks for writing!
