I've Got To Move

I've Got To Move

A Poem by Sheila Marie Carr
"

At last I am free

"

I've got to move on

To the highest mountain

I've got to move

Cross the widest sea

I've got to move

Through the longest river

I've got to keep on moving

Till I'm free

I've got to move on

Cut these chains off

I've got to move

Throw away this lock and key

I've got to move

A little faster

I've got to keep on moving

Till I'm free

I've got to move on

Can't let them catch me

I've got to move

To freedom land

I've got to move

Feet don't fail me

I've got to keep on moving

And I'll be free
