Writer's CafeA Poem by Sheila Marie CarrA poem for everyone here at writer's cafeTo everyone on Writer's Cafe Thank you for opening a passageway To express myself in my writings and all First time, in a long time, I'm having a ball
I don't have any friends, that I can talk to So I appreciate the thoughts from all of you It's a lonely world when your'e living in a box Caged like an animal, behind pad locks
My life is pathetic and serious in need Of a true friendship, someone who really believes Not just in me, but what is truly real That life is worth living, in what we feel
I have exposed my heart to the unknown To judge or criticize, I'm out of my zone So whatever you think of me, will be O.K. For I have found some life, at Writer's Cafe
