Eternal Love

Eternal Love

A Poem by Sheila Marie Carr
"

An everlasting love...

"
You are there
Everywhere I go
On the streets
In a crowd
I hear your voice
Sounding loud

I close my eyes
I see your face
Haunting me
Wanting me
To come with you
Beyond this place

I want hold back
I need to know
Where you are
Where you go

You come to me
When I'm sleep
Sharing love
And making peace

What use to be
Is no more
Yet still remains
The love we shared
To linger through eternity

That is beautiful. Reminds me of the lyrics a song would have in the late 80's when musicians could actually sing and still flowed about love. Miss those days. You bring it back in that right. Very comforting themes in those words. I am a fan. Keep them coming Queen.
