According to my silly story, a farm woman at the end of a heavy day's work, set before her menfolks a heaping pile of hay. And when they furiously demanded whether she had gone crazy, she replied ”Why, how do i know you would notice?” I have been cooking for you men for the last twenty years and in all that time I ain't heard no word to let me know you wasn't just heating hay.!

it is quite common that men have no idea as to what they have until it is gone. it is only then that they seem to learn that showing a little appreciation could have saved them from themselves.

Most people wouldn't know Paradise if they found it because they would immediately take it for granted, and then start complaining to the angelic management. If we would lock someone in a dark cell for one year, then he would feel as if he were released into Paradise the moment he was let out, but in time he’d make the great beautiful outdoors into a Hell once again.
