Natural BeautyA Poem by L.G. KnightSparkle and shimmer as the light plays Through the blue of your eyes like they're an ocean See the tears fall like a stream Over the cliff of your cheeckbones An anguished blush Spreads across your cheeks Like the petals of a rose in the full bloom of summer Let me imerse myself in your oceans Bring the sparkles of love that need no light Let me follow your stream Till I find the well of joy at its end Let me care for your Rose Petals Nurture in love and water with praise Let me be the sole observer of your natural beauty Let me breath the air so soft and sweet That emitts from your soul as if blown by a breeze As clean and pure as after new fallen rain Let me loose myself in it Like a tropical rain forest at it's finest Let me wipe away the pain Like a gentle hand Removes harmfull moss from a tree Let me watch you grow and heal Becoming more beautiful Than the moss could ever have dreamed Shimmering in the crystal light That can only be achieved When sunlight shoots Through drops of rain And blooming With the exuisit blosoms That are only more beautiful For blooming through adversity Drawing to you the exotic Colorfully painted Distinguished birds All clamoring For one small drop of attention From the exotic and rare beauty That only a plain mockingbird Noticed was there all along.
