You never know what lurks...

 

what bombs will explode if you step there?...

 

What lives will be destroyed if you wonder too far....

 

What will be the outcome of dwelling in this place...

 

This fragile state....

 

More than I can take...

 

 

 

I take my steps carefully

 

Don't want to be blown to bits...

 

Navigating this mindfield with utmost care

 

don't want to make a wrong step

 

And have it blow up in your face...

 

 

 

So dark...

 

I can't see where I am going...

 

I just stumble along

 

Doing my best to avoid the traps

 

The snares

 

 

 

The explsions....

 

The explosions of truth that may pour forth

 

To blast my illusions to peices...

 

My only hopes...

 

My life ropes...

 

scared it may break...

 

A chance I take

 

 

 

Trying to shed light

 

Make it through the dark nights

Oh I wrote something! It was Watch where you step. But it was towards what someone is talking about. This is so retro. lol. I love the force you give out and about. BE my friend!

Cripes, this sounds like somewhere I've been before. It's dark and scary navigating the minefield in your mind. There are a few minor spelling errors, but beyond that I thought this was a very powerful piece. I like the play on terms: mindfield versus minefield... "what happens if you wonder too far" versus "wander" too far... I don't know if it was intentional or just an error, but I find it fascinating and it works perfectly with the tone of the work.
