RhymesA Poem by L.G. KnightJust Farting around...These little rhymes Always run through my mind, I never can get them out.
They come out and play, All through the day, Racing round like little cub scouts.
I have tried to block, But find it no shock, That I cannot resist their pull.
Always doing their bidding, No I'm not kidding, I am always playing their fool.
But to me it's no trouble, Even if it was doubled, It would never take my pleasure.
It is how its is, Rhymes are my gift, My one true little treasure.
I would never ask, That they move to the back, And hide them from the light.
For they are my thoughts, And above all, To be written is their biggest right.
