Silence Screams

Silence Screams

A Poem by L.G. Knight

Silence Screams

piecing my ears

there is nothing

That can drown it out

It's pointing out

The abscence of you

And everything

You left behind

My soul screams

From the pain

Of being tossed out

Like yesterdays trash

Forgotten

Like a dream

In the morning

After you wake

Were you ever

Really here

Or just a mairage

Of what could be

A vision of Love

For a stranded soul

Deprived of such

Sweet nector

Silence Screams

He was real

You let him go and

With him your soul
