Who Am I?

Who Am I?

A Poem by L.G. Knight

Who am I?,

I am the morning sunshine rays,

or atleast thats what those around me say,

A taste of sweet with a hint of vineger,

A beautiful melody by an off beat singer.

Who am I?,

A Colorful painting in black and white,

A midsummer day thats dark as night,

A flower in bloom the stem a bit tilted,

Thankful that its not yet wilted

Who am I?,

A saint fallen from her heavenly place,

A sinner full of God's glorious grace,

A Story teller telling a tale

As old and timless as a wishing well.

Who am I,

A poet sometimes void of rhymes,

But never words or time,

A lover who's heart has shattered and broke,

A speaker who's words have already been spoke.

Who Am I?,

Thats what I've been trying to tell you

With these words I've spoken for you

Now for the answer, Here we go...

Who am I? I don't really know....

Very vivid descriptions, Frances. I love the flow... I especially enjoyed the beginning stanzas, but the last stanza gives a satisfying ending.
