I walk through the valley of light

Nolonger do I wander the night

Nolonger do I search for a way

I now walk in eternal day

 

I have found the path to happiness

As I bask in the sun's sweet caress

I don't have to hide fear or pain

I nolonger suffer from eternal shame

 

I have found the light that conquers my dark

I has always been hidden in my heart

Now it shines for the world to see

A testament to sacrifices made for me

 

I have finally found an everlasting love

In a precious gift sent from above

Tailor made; custom fit to me

Something so perfect I have never seen

 

A love that cares not about my flaws

Loves me unconditionally despite them all

Never finds it nessasary to put me down

See's the real me behind the mask of a clown

 

The facade that I have put on for the world

Of the brightest, happiest, funniest girl

Became truth; maybe not in the blink of an eye

But the process started when He entered my life

 

Better than a knight in armor; He's my beacon of hope

I find possabilities in the future because of words that He spoke

I nolonger fear my mortal day's end

Am nolonger a prison of my past sin

 

I will never again face the dark alone

Wherever I roam He has already gone

Because of the beautiful thing that He's done

I will forever bask in the glory of the Son!
