The HoleA Poem by L.G. KnightDeeper I fall Into this black hole The depth of which No one really knows
Powerful as a vacuum It sucks me in A breif release Then it pulls again
A brief glorius moment Of Shinning white The surrounded again By deep onyx night
For day can never Keep me in it's grasp Joy and happiness Can never really last
Always replaced By gloom, So bleek Happiness is all I will ever seek
An never find Such is my fate To struggle in the dark The rest of my days
Always looking for what Can never be found reaching for the unreachable Never backing down
In my dreams I bake in the sun Then wake to find Night's just begun
Once again tumbling Deeper in the hole How far is the bottom I hope I never know... © 2008 L.G. Knight |
