Nasty CupidA Poem by L.G. KnightCupid you're a spiteful one, Tell me what'd I ever do? To make you dislike me so, And send me love untrue. Why can I never make it, Onto your good side? And have you deem to send me, A love to last a lifetime. Cupid you're a mean one, I just can not see, Why you send me nightmares, Instead of a sweet dream. I have always trusted, In loves true tender embrace. So why is it I end up, With Love's bitter disgrace? Cupid you're a hateful one, To treat me as you do. I'd like to steal your bow, And Turn it back on you. © 2008 L.G. KnightReviews
