Dump on Me

Dump on Me

A Poem by L.G. Knight

Can't pay the rent?

You can dump on me.

'Cause your money is spent

You can dump on me.

Can't contribute time?

You can dump on me.

Or even a Dime?

You can dump on me.

I can always clean

You can dump on me

I can do everything

You can dump on me

That's what I'm here for right?

So you can dump on me

And rest through another night

'Cause you can dump on me

Don't worry 'bout anything

You can dump on me

I shoot miracles with David's sling

So you can dump on me

That's O.K., it's really alright

You can dump on me

But I'll run away one night

So you CAN'T dump on me.

Then where will you be

When you can't dump on me

Without a paddle in that creek

'Cause you can't dump on me.

Nice poem here. :)
It's like my situation with my friend. She dumps stuff on me and makes me do the work, and I always wonder if she'll go back to third grade without me.
I don't think she'll be able to make it in life if she doesn't shape up.

This is a lovely lesson...but one that's always taught too late.

"That's O.K., it's really alright..."
Hmm...maybe using "okay" instead of "O.K." will make it easier to read.
There isn't much flow, but its still good.
