TRIPPING the LIGHTA Poem by TerryDarcy-Ryan akaSheerTerror"blinded brilliant by a star’s stunning glow"trees bent for agonies quaint fill in umber for a venue of mortal remain knotted limbs twined on a distorted path crawling from beneath the shrub to stretch possessed in a lifelong quest of illumination the sculpted arbor built eagerly in self preservation a sight for surrender the play by play inside wonder an artist still changing the content chasing perfection for hopes silhouette daring beauty with a promise to forget the reluctant seduction to reflect a stolen look through the glass to catch a brilliant star's stunning glow majestic fragments of light expand and flow awaken the snap of plush reminisce alive to flicker inspiration in a single trip hitting the on again off again desire to resist the spiritual passing in every here and now that exist introduce us to what we can and cannot see the long cold road from summer to spring captured by belief a humbled place in constant motion tumbling through the window gently as she sleeps
