The CarouselA Poem by TerryDarcy-Ryan akaSheerTerrorBeautiful bold white horses The perfect picture in motion Eye to eye they fly by A daring call inside Echo it's my turn to ride For the smallest price The simplest sacrifice Of my will Magical Unicorns precede sculptured and carved for glory Identical to the fabled story A seduction holds tight the quarry To great heights they soare Suspended and still call for Plain wishes To meet illusion Heroic black and gray stallions Bow down Taking their place to serve the noble round They guard, side by side Stationed for flight miles high Pledge endless enchanted light For the bravest knight Of illusion and dreams And they fly by, Circles in flight Always reaching for the sky Starless smiles and slight waves hold them in their places I heard them calling my name Sweet sound of temptation pulling me inside, to always ride In a collectively composed guise THE CAROUSEL
