Stardust and Innocence

Stardust and Innocence

A Poem by TerryDarcy-Ryan akaSheerTerror

The day was marked for perfection

not once but twice

Holding the heart of a hunter

he found her alone and surprised

Beauty was hunted,

held down and sacrificed

Morning side of indifference

Beauty is gone and a girl alive

The Dimmest Stars in the Sky

Hold tight her prayers and cries

A young girl wakes from dreams of revenge

A woman

With Stardust and innocence

Falling from her eyes
