Promising Stars.

Promising Stars.

More a thought than a story.

The night was bright.

The moon hung high in the sky, diminishing slightly.

To see your own shadow cast by the light of the moon at 3:30 in the morning but also see the first smile of the sun is indeed a rare thing. I saw an even nore rare scene; stars, hung with so many promises, glittering in this north Leeds sky. I open my arms to bask in the moonlight, more wholesome than its daytime counterpart.

Underneath this curtain of night, pricked with so many sparkly pinholes, raced the pale, morose moon, faithfully along its path. Underneath it, puffs of clouds as big as houses float lazily by. Beneath them all, stood your humble narrator spinning like a mad woman.

Dizzy, I find my keys, open the door and stumble inside.
