Wandering waves meandering shoreline
A crashing sound against pillars below
So high over near the lighthouse shoreline
Turbulence as waves go high and below.
The foghorn blows to warn the skips away
Until the storm subsides and waters calm
Seagulls return, they’ve been so far away
Tranquility’s found with the weathers calm.
All the hearsay's as lighthouse legends tell
Of all the lives saved from a sudden death
All are true accounts the logbooks do tell
Sinking ships might lead to a certain death.
But thanks to the lighthouse many survived
A fate they might not otherwise survived!
