Where It Leads No One Knows (Sonnet)

Where It Leads No One Knows (Sonnet)

A Poem by SheWolfNLust

Shadowy coverings which shades the light,

Of an old cottage house hidden in woods,

Towering trees, only the door in sight,

The door locked tightly to protect its goods.

A light beneath the door draws attention,

By the walk path on a tree limb the key,

What lies inside the houses retention?

And therein this place one might want to see.

But its appearance scares most folks away,

Wonderment's of stories are left untold,

As just the birds are left on trees to sway,

A squirrel at trunk a nut his hand does hold.

A lonesome old dwelling so obscure,

Within its mystique as yet found no cure!

forms in our minds from your storied description.

Intriguing!
