Closure

Closure

A Poem by Leanne Marie
"

I wrote this last year when I fell into a pattern of darkness. All of the emotions in this poem reflect some truth in my life.

"
Cut a little deeper,
Scream a little louder,
Swallow one more pill and then I'm there
Don't tell me that you love me,
Don't feed me anymore lies,
The only thing I need to hear
is you saying your good-byes.
I'm falling deeper into darkness,
A black epiphany,
The lonliness takes over,
It's suffocating me.
Reality becomes hazy,
All hope has dissapeared,
Everything fades away slowly...
There's no more pain,
Nothing but blood stains,
No more smiles,
Just an abused heart.
You promised you'd be there
To take everything away,
But now you've gone and left me
All alone and left to stray,
I'm lost within the crowd,
You've hurt me,
I hope your proud.
I guess I'm finally through,
There's nothing left to say,
It's time for me to go,
No reason left to stay.
But don't worry I understand,
Why no tears will be shed,
You don't care that it's because of you,
I'm lying here broken and dead.
