Just sit here. Stare past the evergreen branches and the railings restricting your view of the murky lake water. Don't adjust the coat you sit upon, brush your toes on the rough grass and pine needles and relish the uncomfortable sensation. Let the wind drift past you, like a whispered secret you're not bothered to listen to. Block out the songs of the tweeting birds overhead and the buzzing noise of the occasional car behind you. Ignore the sound of clicking bike gears and gentle footsteps on paved ground. Move past the soft sent of spring grass and the dingy smell of the lake that periodically wafts to you nose.
But most of all, don't think. Don't force an idea upon yourself, let it come to you.
